Chemical or Process Engineering Department provides technical services in chemical process and piping area, that includes Process Design Package（PDP）development, chemical engineering design, safety instrument analysis, HAZOP study etc. Our daily job covers various challenging tasks, like analyzing, modifying and updating clients’ PDP based on our accumulated engineering experiences, working on project application and feasibility study, conduct basic engineering and detailed engineering design, calculating process equipment data and model.
1.Draw equipment layout, pipeline level (elevation) layout, pipeline axonometric diagram, pipe mouth orientation, pipe rack layout (plant-wide external pipe).
2.Draw pipeline partition index, hose station and heat tracing pipe layout.
3.Prepare pipeline design description, pipeline data sheet, pipeline checklist, comprehensive material list, heat tracing pipe list (if any), and determine pipeline data sheet.
4.Responsible for the design of pipe support (hanger) in the production unit, including pipe rack table, pipe rack diagram and spring rack table.
5.Responsible for the calculation of deflection, flexibility and stress of piping system within the specified range (critical or key) in production units.
6.Responsible for the calculation of the wall thickness (compressive strength) of metal pressure pipeline, and check and calculate the strength of non-standard pipe fittings (mainly refers to toxic, flammable, explosive, high temperature and high pressure medium).
7.Responsible for the calibration calculation of the allowable load range of sensitive equipment (such as steam turbine, compressor, pump, etc.) connected to the end of piping system within the specified range.
8.Design of process, heat supply and other external pipes for the connection between devices in the plant area.
9.Put forward corresponding conditions to structure and instrument specialty.
10.Do a good job in Party A's service work, including pre-project consultation, mid-term design, post-delivery, acceptance, etc.
11.Participate in the evaluation meetings organized by the construction unit or competent department.
12.Cooperate with Marketing Department in business and technical work.
13.Complete other tasks assigned by leaders.
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemical Technology.
2. 3-5 years working experience in chemical process design or working experience in design institute is preferred.
3. Relevant registration qualification is preferred.
4. Familiar with relevant design specifications, able to work independently and have strong professional skills.
5. Good writing skills and strong understanding and communication skills.
6. Ability of continuous learning.
7. Ability to work in depth.
1.Participate in the preparation of project proposal, feasibility study report, application report, preliminary design or safety facilities design, etc.
2.Responsible for the selection and calculation of process equipment for production units: reactors, towers, heat exchangers, pumps, etc., as well as public works and auxiliary works (including environmental protection facilities).
3.Responsible for the process design of the production plant, including the process design specification, process flow diagram (PFD), piping and instrumentation flow diagram (PID), utility system diagram, equipment layout diagram, material balance sheet, process equipment list, etc. in the preliminary design and construction drawing design stage.
4.Select and calculate safety valve, rupture disc, restriction orifice, small silencers, steam trap and other special pipe fittings, and prepare procurement data sheets.
5.Provide design conditions for all disciplines.
6.Actively cooperate with other disciplines of the team to carry out design work and coordinate process related issues with the owner.
7.Do a good job in Party A's service work, including pre-project consultation, mid-term design, post-delivery, acceptance, etc.
